Reflecting on the release of the Sega Mega Drive II along with Sonic 2 and the Mega Games 2 collection in 1992. For those in North America, this was released as the Sega Genesis. The Mega Games collection was a cartridge that included multiple games—typically three or more—providing a comprehensive gaming experience in one package. This was quite innovative for its time.
Mega Games 2 is still considered one of the best compilation collections available, featuring titles such as Golden Axe, Streets of Rage, and Revenge of Shinobi. Personally, I spent more time playing these games than Sonic 2 during that era.
The game series is very dear to me, and this particular title is among my favorites. Friends often joke that it is one of only three games I frequently play.
Thank you for watching the run. See you next time.
