Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 is like stepping into a time machine back to the late ’90s, when skateboarding was all about rebellious energy, distorted guitars, and the thrill of pulling off an insane trick combo. This collection combines the best elements of the original PlayStation classics with modern enhancements, delivering a game that feels both nostalgic and fresh.
While Tony Hawk games were never about intricate storytelling, the career mode here gives you enough upgrades and customization options to craft your own skateboarding journey. It’s straightforward but satisfying—complete objectives, unlock new parks, and keep the tricks coming.
Story Rating: 7/10
The gameplay remains as addictive as ever. There’s a learning curve—especially when it comes to balancing manuals and grinds—but once it clicks, chaining combos feels incredibly rewarding. The controls are responsive, tricks feel smooth, and landing a big combo gives that same rush fans remember from decades ago.
Skatepark creation and multiplayer are nice additions, allowing you to design your own parks and then challenge friends to “Do a kickflip!” online.
Gameplay Rating: 9/10
Visually, this isn’t a game that will blow your mind. Textures can be muddy, and some environments lack polish, but it’s serviceable. The focus here is clearly on gameplay rather than jaw-dropping graphics.
Graphics Rating: 6/10
If you’re just going for the main career progression, expect about 15 hours of playtime. For completionists chasing 100%, you’re looking at 50–60 hours. On Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, this is absolutely worth checking out (special thanks to TheReaper for covering the sub :P).
Playtime Rating: 8/10
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 delivers a faithful skateboarding experience that successfully blends nostalgia with modern tweaks. The soundtrack slaps, the tricks feel just as satisfying as ever, and even though the graphics aren’t impressive, the gameplay easily makes up for it.
